Celebrate Science Indiana 2018 was a great success last Saturday.

Thanks to our sponsors for their support and our exhibitors for their participation. Without the dedicated commitment from these groups, Celebrate Science Indiana would not be possible. The exhibitors provided a wide range of hands on interactive, educational experiences for attendees who participated. Also a resounding thank you to the parents, teachers, grandparents, family members, significant adult, and friends who took time to bring their students and families to the event.

It was very apparent that the students of all ages (children and teens) were really enjoying the day’s activities. We hope their experiences at Celebrate Science Indiana helped them increase their understanding of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and we hope those experiences may ultimately inspire many of them to pursue a career in a STEM related field.

Thanks to those of you who took some time as you were leaving to complete the attendee survey. Your feedback helps us to understand the impact of science festivals like Celebrate Science Indiana on attendees and provide suggestions on ways to improve our festival in the future.

We will be posting photos from this year’s festival on the website along with a summary of some of the attendee survey responses.

Please save date for the next annual Celebrate Science Indiana which will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the same location as 2018, the Elements Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
