In 2015, our Celebrate Science Indiana festival won the Outstanding Continuing Public Relations Program of a American Chemical Society Local Section. This year, Celebrate Science Indiana is a finalist for the ACS Local Section Partnership Award. Winners will be announced and the presentation of awards will be made at the ACS Fall 2019 National Meeting & Expo in San Diego, CA on Tuesday, August 27, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt.
Regardless of the outcome, Celebrate Science Indiana is indebted to our sponsors and exhibitors, for their dedication to the continued success of this outreach program. Last year over 58 companies / organizations and many individuals went above and beyond to have exciting hands-on activities at their booths at Celebrate Science Indiana that sparked interest in STEM for children of all ages. This requires a dedicated village of volunteers that are exhausted by the end of the day. Amazingly our sponsors and exhibitors keep coming back year after year because of their passion for the cause. Without their partnerships and continued investment in the youth of our community, it wouldn’t happen.
We hope that you will be able to join us for our 10th annual festival on Oct. 5, 2019 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Elements Blue Ribbon Pavilion between 9:30 am & 5:00 pm. Celebrate Science Indiana is free to the public. The Indiana State Fairgrounds charges a parking fee of $8 per vehicle. If you want to be a sponsor or exhibitor at our 10th festival and haven’t registered yet, you can do so at the following link: http://celebratescienceindiana.org/registration/.
